AUDITION for curious

Curious is an ensemble of young adult queer artist who use Playback Theatre to tell stories about the whole spectrum of the queer experience.

We are so excited to FINALLY be bringing back “Curious: Playback Theatre for Queer Narratives”. We never know what each performance will look like, which is what makes Curious such an exciting experience to be apart of.

  • Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre where audience members share personal stories and watch them immediately enacted by a trained ensemble using music, movement, and dialogue.

  • Because the playback happens based on stories we hear in the room, we never know exactly what a performance will look like! Stories will deal with themes of queerness on a whole range of topics

  • The performers in Curious are teens and young adults who identify as LGBTQ+. We welcome all humans as audience members, but performances may include more adult content. We will have one performance that is specifically for families with children!
