All of Rising Youth Theatre’s work is built in community partnerships. These are not surface level interactions - we do not see ourselves as “serving” our community, but as working in active relationships with the people, schools, and organizations around us. When we work with your school or org, we are honored to get to share space and work together towards a shared goal. Whether you are a school, a youth-serving organization, or a corporate entity looking to build community, we can create a program for you! This page is for organizations serving people of all ages - if you are looking for programming for your school please visit our schools page
We’re a community based organization so we create things in partnership with the people and organizations we work with! Shared here is a menu of examples of things we’ve done in the past - however we will always work with our partner to create something that speaks directly to your community and the people in it.

Rising Youth Theatre has experience working with a wide variety of organizations looking to deepen their collaboration and community, including youth-serving, adult-focused, and intergenerational organizations. Our partners will come to us with a goal and mind, and we can customize our skills and assets to support an organization in moving towards that goal. We offer a number of specialized workshops and trainings focused around Rising Youth Theatre’s core values and best practices and we love getting to share this work with others.
Some of our incredible organizational partners include:
Alliance for Adolescent Health
Arizona Democracy Resilience Network
Please see below for samples of our previous partnership work and existing programs you can contract us for
A comprehensive training for youth-serving organizations focused on how to better engage young people in decision making at your organization. Our most popular training, this program can be adapted to meet the needs of any organization, ranging from healthcare to corporations
A versatile facilitated experience where diverse groups of people come together over a meal to build unexpected connections
Young people leading conversations around current issues for intergenerational groups
Rising Youth Theatre is in the process of becoming organizationally certified in Liz Lerman's Critical Response Process and multiple members of our team hold this individual certification. We can provide trainings and resources for your team on this method of giving and receiving feedback
Rising Youth Theatre is collaborating with Affirm and the Alliance for Adolescent Health to build a series of trainings for adult healthcare providers who work with youth. The vision behind these trainings is to provide adult health care providers with tools for centering young people's wisdom and expertise in their own bodies during medical appointments and imagine new ways for youth leadership to be present in healthcare spaces. Over the course of this partnership, Rising Youth Theatre has reached more than 600 adult care providers.
In 2023, in partnership with YWCA of Arizona, Rising Youth Theatre partnered to bring a theatre project to Aguila, Arizona, working with young people to talk about mental health. Rising Youth Theatre’s teaching artists spent four days working at the Aguila Library with young people, who ultimately created an original performance that was shared for their families alongside a performance from Rising Youth Theatre. Over the course of our time in Aguila participating students went from sitting on the sidelines to performing for their friends and family and we are enthusiastically continuing this as a multi-year partnership
